Since its establishment in 1990, the Datatel Scholars Foundation has helped deserving scholars meet their education goals by awarding over 3,500 scholarships totaling more than $5 million.

Angelfire Scholarship - Honoring soldiers who have served during combat, the Angelfire scholarship is for outstanding students currently attending an eligible Datatel client institution, who served in the Vietnam War, their spouses and children, or refugees. Scholarships are also available for soldiers who served in Operation Desert Storm, Operation Enduring Freedom, and/or Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Withdrawal - UNOH offers special circumstance extensions or withdrawals for students who find themselves deployed or sent on military mission assignments without computer access after starting a class or classes. Any service member who is eligible for a special extension or withdrawal is required to contact the Registrar's office, the ESO, the course instructor(s), and the military relations office (Randy Gonzalez) when deployment or other circumstances will make it impossible to complete the coursework within the scheduled time frame.
